Shop
The laboratory provides facilities for
fabrication, maintenance, or repair of both mechanical
and electronic fixtures and devices. Major equipment
includes a precision drill press, 2 band saws, a
Bridgeport series 2 CNC milling machine, a Bridgeport
Series I milling machine, a lathe, grinding and special
cut-off saws, TIG welder, and complete tooling and
instruments for machining hard or soft materials. The
laboratory also includes a complete instrumentation shop
for electronic device fabrication and/or repair.
