Facilities

A variety of standard testing facilities are available to investigators in the laboratories including: an Instron Uniaxial testing system (Model 1000), an MTS servohydraulic torsion machine, an MTS servohydraulic uniaxial testing machine (model 810), an MTS Bionix servohydraulic testing system, and several custom special purpose servohydraulic actuators. A new cutom servohydraulic uniaxial testing machine with a temperature controlled fluid test chamber, as well as a new servo-testing system for soft tissue constituents are also available. Several unique "microscopic" testing frames have also been constructed.
